Notice Of Cancellation Of May General Meeting.

Dear Fellow Old Boys,

On behalf of BIFOBA president and the National Executive Council, I have the honour and privilege to thank and congratulate all of you for your contributions in all ways, which led to the success of our Homecoming and Thanksgiving Ball.

The president has directed and the National Executive Council has approved that in keeping with our revered tradition our General Meeting for May 2018 is hereby cancelled. We are enjoined to use this period to observe our well-deserved rest.

However, please be informed that our next General Meeting will be Sunday, June 10, 2018. All members whose birthdays fall in May and June will be celebrated on that day.

This release serves as a “Happy birthday” wish to all members born in May.

Congratulations dear all. See you in June.

BFHS Won the National Debate Organized by ACLN

On Thursday, April 15, 2021, after final votes came in from all corners of the world, Birch Freeman High School, Surulere, representing Lagos state, won the national virtual debate organized by Association for Credible Leadership in Nigeria (ACLN), with 4538 votes. Oduduwa College, Ile-Ife, representing Osun state, came second, with 3961 votes, while Government College, Ibadan, representing Oyo state, came third, with 3716 votes.

Debate topic: Nigeria has the resources, the ability, and the people to grow into an economic superpower

Debate topic: The insecurity challenges in Nigeria have taken tolls on all facets of social, political and economic lives of the nation.

Schools must present their perspectives, outtlining the causes and sustainable solutions to peace and economic growth in the country.
